Embodying the colonial memory. White colonists and “implicated subjects” in photographs from Equatorial Guinea

چکیده
Except for explicitly colonial approaches, academic research on the visual culture of former colonies tends to adopt an allegedly critical perspective towards history, as a way participate in construction conscious memory that helps transform contemporary relationships. However, while, hypervisibility colonised peoples has been compared lack visibility white colonisers studies.
